Professional drug lab remediation. Removal of Methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other toxic residues
Our Biohazard Cleaning System has 3 separate components that when combined, target contaminants and detach them from surfaces. This powerful formula uses surfactants and mild oxidizers to attack VOC’s, toxic chemicals, and hazardous chemical residues.
Third party lab testing shows our system is 100% effective! With no harmful byproducts created during the decontamination process.
Isolate, capture and lift surface contaminants of methamphetamines
Chemical process breaks down the oils and chemical bonds from Fentanyl.
Removal of toxic residues in affected properties and clandestine labs.
Contact ZeroMold for a free virtual meth inspection. Our experts are ready to provide you with a comprehensive assessment and a plan to tackle any meth or fentanyl issue. Act now to protect your space!
Our revolutionary technology was developed for the U.S. military to breakdown chemical weapons i.e., Anthrax, Nerve Agents, Mustard Gas, etc. The products are non-toxic and safe for your family members and pets. To top it off, our technology is 99.99% effective, making it a clean sweep.
Engineered to isolate, capture and lift surface contaminants such as methamphetamines, fentanyl, carfentanil, and other toxic residuals found in clandestine labs.
Traditional cleaning methods can require as many as three separate wash downs of all surfaces using a variety of over-the-counter cleansers. With our system, the three specialized chemicals are mixed together and the solution is applied once!
Third party lab testing shows our method is 100% effective! The oxidation of methamphetamine to another compound completes the process and no methamphetamines are detected after the initial treatment.
Renders Chemical and Biological Agents Harmless - Utilizing advanced technology is key to thoroughly eliminating Meth, VOC’s, toxic chemicals, and hazardous chemical residues, significantly enhancing the air quality inside your home.
Thorough and Detailed Meth Cleanup
During structure remediation with ZeroMold, a remediation crew removes everything from the structure, including carpets and drapes, until the house is stripped bare except for the fixtures.
The crew mixes the Cleaning solution on site and sprays the foam on walls, ceilings and floors. The foam expands to about 15 times its liquid volume through a special nozzle that draws air into the spray, allowing it to reach contamination in crevices and in the air. In an hour, it collapses back to a liquid. Using only fresh water, rags and sponges, the crew then removes the benign residue from all surfaces.
Our Formulation leaves meth non-detectable
In experiments from a few years ago, experts on the effects of meth exposure on children, compared the effectiveness of common cleaners, such as detergent and bleach, on methamphetamine cleanup. The experiments showed that, after cleaning with ZeroMold’s Meth Decontamination System, the methamphetamine present on tested surfaces was likely oxidized to another compound and was non-detectable.
Meth Testing
After the site is cleaned, an independent industrial hygienist tapes off a sample area in the cleaned structure and takes a number of swipe samples appropriate for the location size. The samples are treated as evidence, a formal chain of custody is established and they are taken to an independent lab. The lab runs the samples through a mass spectrometer to determine the level of contamination.
The right technology makes all the difference in removing both the VISIBLE and the INVISIBLE biohazards within your home.

ZeroMold’s Meth decontamination system, developed more than a decade ago and used to decontaminate federal office buildings and mailrooms during the 2001 anthrax attacks, is now being used to decontaminate illegal methamphetamine labs.
The meth cleanup problem is a big one. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Clandestine Meth Lab registry lists thousands of locations in the U.S. where law enforcement agencies have found chemicals or paraphernalia indicating the presence of either clandestine drug laboratories or dumpsites.
According to the Department of Justice, the chemicals used to cook meth and the byproducts from its manufacture, produce toxic fumes, vapors and residues. The report said anyone exposed to these byproducts, especially children, could suffer short- and long-term health problems. Prolonged exposure to meth byproducts may cause cancer; damage the brain, liver, kidney, spleen and immunologic system; and result in birth defects.
Many cleaning methods don’t remove methamphetamine and the chemicals used to produce it. Incompletely or improperly cleaned surfaces, such as floors, countertops and drywall, can remain contaminated for months or even years, even after many cleanups.
Our decontamination formulation includes a collection of mild, non toxic and non corrosive chemicals found in common household products. It contains both surfactants, which lift agents off a surface, and mild oxidizers, which break down the agent’s molecules into nontoxic pieces that can be washed down a household drain like detergent or dish soap.
In most instances, our cleaning system reduces the levels to .02 μg/100 square cm (microgram/sq. cm) or less, which is considered non-detectable.
The Cleaning formula is more expensive than other cleaners, but it saves greatly on labor costs and lab costs because other cleaning solutions usually require more than one cleaning, with a larger crew doing the cleaning and with costly sampling taking place in between cleanings.
Another advantage of this cleanup method, is that some other methods are destructive or use more corrosive substances and the resulting chemical residues are themselves toxic. Our Cleaning System is rendered non-hazardous and non-toxic, requiring only a surface wipe when finished.
Methamphetamine lab cleanup and fentanyl decontamination are not like wiping away household dirt. These sites contain dangerous chemical residues and airborne toxins from drug production or handling. Professional drug lab remediation involves specialized safety gear, neutralizing solutions, HEPA filtration systems, and strict hazardous waste protocols to completely remove contamination from walls, floors, HVAC systems, and belongings—ensuring the property is truly safe for re-entry.
ZeroMold’s proprietary biohazard cleaning system is engineered specifically for methamphetamine residue removal and fentanyl decontamination. Our three-step treatment uses surfactants and mild oxidizers to break down and neutralize harmful residues, VOCs, and fine particulates without leaving behind harmful byproducts. We confirm our results with third-party lab testing, ensuring 100% effectiveness and complete hazardous residue removal before the property is cleared for safe use.
Meth lab remediation and fentanyl cleanup must be handled by certified hazmat professionals to prevent accidental exposure and cross-contamination. ZeroMold’s team follows OSHA HAZWOPER training standards and EPA-recommended protocols, ensuring every surface and air pathway is thoroughly decontaminated. Attempting DIY drug lab cleanup can spread toxic chemicals and create long-term health risks, so professional cleanup services are the safest choice.
Many states have set clearance levels for meth lab cleanup—often 1.5 µg per 100 cm²—but fentanyl cleanup is even more stringent due to its extreme potency. While no federal fentanyl decontamination standards exist, health agencies recommend keeping airborne fentanyl below 1 ng/m³ and surface residues below 1 ng per 100 cm². ZeroMold’s cleanup services exceed these safety benchmarks, helping property owners meet state compliance and protect occupants.
Incomplete methamphetamine or fentanyl cleanup can leave behind invisible but dangerous contamination. Fentanyl particles are so small they can become airborne with the slightest movement, posing severe overdose risks. Improper cleaning methods—like dry sweeping or just airing out a property—can spread contamination instead of removing it. That’s why ZeroMold uses containment, HEPA filtration, and chemical neutralization to ensure all hazardous residues are eliminated.
ZeroMold’s certified drug lab cleanup process includes:
Site assessment & hazard removal – identifying contamination and removing visible drug-making materials.
Surface decontamination – applying specialized cleaning agents to break down meth and fentanyl residues.
HEPA vacuuming & neutralization – capturing airborne particulates and chemically neutralizing toxins.
Post-cleanup testing – independent lab sampling to confirm clearance levels meet or exceed health standards.
Documentation for compliance – providing property owners with official cleanup reports for legal and insurance purposes.
Our detailed process ensures your property is safe, compliant, and ready for re-occupancy.
